Lee and Kevin have been doing my nails for almost 8 years now that they’ve become more like family. I’ve also brought my mother and grandmother here to get their nails done. We have never experienced anything but sheer perfection and professionalism from their work. They are always happy to schedule me in to help me look and feel my best for every occasion and event. There is absolutely no one in this town who does better free hand design than Lee and Kevin hands down gives the best pedicure massage! In order to get the best service, be sure to call ahead and book your time. They are always very busy, and booking your service ahead instead of “dropping in” will ensure that you receive the best experience possible. I can’t recommend this husband/wife super dream team enough! Thank you for being such an iconic staple in our community!

I am NOT a "lair." ) (Original statement) Within a day of having my nails done, I observed that the polish began to peel. Consequently, I returned the following day to have my nails repaired. However, just half a day later, I noticed that two additional nails were peeling. I reached out to express my concerns and encountered rudeness from Manchau, the owner. He displayed a lack of empathy regarding my situation as a customer and even admitted that the nail polish was “old.” I was taken aback by the manner in which he communicated with me; I have audio recordings and screenshots of our correspondence that substantiate my claims. Subsequently, Lee, his wife, called me and acknowledged her husband's rudeness, stating, “I know he is rude; that’s my husband. He is just like that. Trust me, I know. Just come in and let me fix your nails for you.” I informed her that I did not feel comfortable returning to Modern Nails. During my initial visit, Manchau rushed through the nail application process, which likely contributed to the issues I experienced. It is unacceptable for my nails to be peeling the very next day. I strongly advise against visiting Modern Nails. As I read through reviews from other customers, it became evident that the responses from Modern Nails reflect a dismissive attitude towards customer concerns, demonstrating a lack of accountability on their part. *In respondent to modern nails comment* Following my conversation with your "RUDE" husband, MAN CHAU, you (LEE,wife) proceeded to call me from your personal phone and even left a voicemail. We exchanged texts in between our phone calls. Allow me to jog your memory! Now, please behave like a "good girl" before I release the audio recording of our conversation where you discussed your husband's bad behavior.

This place is AMAZING! Lee does a great job getting my nails done every 2 weeks..she even paints my little one nails 💅🏾! She’s super sweet and always gets me in when I call for an appointment. They take walk ins but making an appointment is just easier, it gets you in and out at lot faster! They recently moved to a new location, the address is 1264 Ribaut Rd /suite 302 / Beaufort/ SC/ across from family dollar. (it’s only 2 minutes from the old location).

Excellent service. Very pleasant atmosphere. Definitely will be returning. They lady that did my Halloween nails was on point. Everything is hand drawn and it looks amazing. Thank you Modern Nails

Very nice & professional! They did my nails exactly like the pictures I showed them with no problem. They didn't rush their work either even though it was well after their closing time. I will definitely be returning!
